Description of slotted wire screen cylinder rotary drum filter:
The slotted wire screen cylinder rotary drum filter is an efficient mechanical filtration of freshwater and seawater. It is alternative to sand filtration especially when excessive waste water is concerned. this filter is the perfect equipment for marine filtration applications or fish farming. It is made to be installed directly in a basin or a canal made of concrete. The drum filter can separate solids, like food waste, fish feces and other organic waste which are over 30 μm from water.
When the water containing particles of suspended solids enter into the drum, suspended solids are stainless steel filter retention, filtered water which does not contain suspended solids enter into water tank. When the suspended solids accumulate to a certain amount inside roller, it will reduce the filter permeable capacity, so increase the drum water level, when the water level reaches to the fixed high level, the water level auto-control system starts working, back washing pump and roller motor start working at the same time, and use high pressure water to wash running mesh. When the mesh is clean, it will improve the filter permeable capacity and reduce the drum water level.
