Description of Drilled Screen Cylinder:
This wide range of wedge wire screens with slot widths from 0.05mm (50 microns) and open areas from 2% through to 40.0% provides solutions for many filtering and separation applications.
They are either fabricated in flat panels with V-sectioned profiled wire arranged in a parallel form and resistance welded to a number of support cross rods or by winding a continuous V-sectioned extruded wire helicoidally onto support bars in the form of a cylinder and welded at each intersection.
The composition of wires and supports can be of different shapes, sizes and materials for different applications where temperature, pressure and applicable conditions prevail such as abrasion and corrosion.
Operation principle of Drilled Screen Cylinder
The v or wedge shaped profile wire wraps around the support rods over the full length of the screen creating a continuous slot opening, hence the screen allows water to enter the well freely in ample quantities while at the same time keeps the majority of sand and gravel out of the well.
Advantages of Drilled Screen Cylinder
1.Better filter function. The V-shape section plane of water well screens(Wedge Wire screens) creates the continuous slot, which can avoid blockage and make sure of the unimpeded water.
2. Prolong life of well. The consecutive slot of water well screens(Wedge Wire screens) have wider open area, and it can reduce the speed of the water entering to avoid the sand entering the screen under the great pressure, so it can control sand better, which can increase the water yield and prolong service time of the well.

4.High pressure-resistant. The longitudinal support rods and the continuous slot make the water well screens(Wedge Wire screens) have more excellent pressure-resistant performance.

Application of Drilled Screen Cylinder
Our stainless steel cylinders can be used in food processing, waste water filtration, pulp and paper as well as mineral processing applications. Wedge wire or profile screen half cylinders can be added to an auger or screw press to separate solids from liquids in food, waste water, minerals and industrial grit/chips from coolant.
